About me

My name is Andrea, and this picture is about the closest I get to a camera, seen here with my dog Bramble. I am no spring chicken and I started to train as a Driving Instructor when I was nearly 47 years old, so never to late to learn.
My main training and exams were taken at Lincoln. I have always enjoyed driving and use to travel up to 60,000 miles a year in my previous job, so plenty of driving experience. So it seemed to be the obvious choice when I wanted a career change. I love doing this work and enjoy trying to pass on my enthusiasm for driving to my pupils, this is my 10th year of teaching.

I have lived at Elm near Wisbech for 24 years, I have one son of 34 years who lives in Newcastle, one hubby who is retired but grows fruit in our small orchard, which he sells at Farmers Markets.
My other passion is pets and wildlife, I have four house cats, two stray ctas that have taken up residence in our outside buildings, one very large dog, five rabbits, pond with lots of fish, these all take up much of my spare time looking after them. But I also feed the foxes, deer, pheasants and the odd strange visitor that is attracted to our land, a third of which has been left to go wild for them, it's great to watch them in the summer evenings. When I have time, usually when I manage to get a holiday for a week, I take my paints and paint potraits of my pets, latest one Chelsea as seen below. I also enjoy home decorating and computors.
